SUPPORT THE PANTRY
How to help
The East Mountain Food Pantry relies on your donations of cash, food, and personal care products. Bring your donations to the pantry during our normal hours of operation.
We are always in need of fresh (can be from your garden), frozen, canned, dried, boxed, or packaged food items.
We are usually running low on staples like peanut butter, jelly, rice or beans, pasta, spaghetti sauce, Mac & cheese, soup, crackers, dried/canned milk, and cereal.
Personal Care Product Donations
We are always in need of Baby and Senior items like baby food, formula, diapers, baby wipes, ointment, Ensure, and Depends.
Household products like toilet paper, laundry or dish detergent, disinfectant wipes, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste are always appreciated.
We also need empty medium-size boxes and grocery bags in which to put items for our clients.
Pet items like dog and cat food are especially helpful to our clients. We cannot break down large bags of food. We find 5-10 pound bags are most beneficial. We also accept canned food for dogs and cats.
A Very Generous Donation!
Thanks to an anonymous donor, we have purchased a new building! We are taking the steps necessary to to relocate our pantry from the small parsonage at the First Baptist Church in Tijeras, to a larger facility.
We will need additional pantry equipment, volunteers, and expertise in many areas to make this transition successful.
Making Plans for Relocation
We Need More Space!
We have outgrown our current space, and are in the process of securing a new facility.
